The Script is an Irish pop rock band from Dublin. Their first album The Script was recorded in August 2008. The members of the group are Danny O'Donoghue (lead vocals and keyboard), Mark Sheehan (guitar and vocals) and Glen Power (drums and vocals). Many of their songs are used in video games, and TV series such as 90210, Ghost Whisperer, Laguna Beach: The Hills, Waterloo Road, EastEnders and Vampire Diaries. In France, the song Science and Faith is used as an introduction to the episodes of season 5 of the show L'amour est dans le pré. O'Donoghue and Sheehan met in their late teens in Dublin's poor neighbourhoods attracted by their shared obsession with music, and in particular their love of black American music. During a stay in Ireland and through mutual friends, Mark Sheehan met Glen Power. After a few writing and composition sessions in Dublin, Mark invites Glen to spend a few days in Los Angeles, where he resides with Danny O'Donoghue. Glen Power joins the new trio. The group chose this name because each of their music tells a story with a beginning, a middle and an end about their personal but also universal problems.
