Jonas brothers

The Jonas Brothers is an American pop rock band made up of three brothers from Wyckoff, New Jersey: Kevin Jonas, born on November 5, 1987, Joe Jonas, born August 15, 1989, and Nick Jonas , born September 16, 1992. They released four albums: It's About Time in 2006, Jonas Brothers in 2007, then A Little Bit Longer in 2008, and finally Lines, Vines, and Trying Times in 2009. They also released, in 2010, an album bringing together songs from their series Jonas LA.

They sold nearly 17 million albums worldwide.

The band started as a solo project for Nick Jonas. When Nick was 6 years old, he was discovered while singing at a hairdresser's and was spotted by a professional manager. At the age of 7, Nick started playing Broadway. He has performed in various pieces, including A Christmas Carol (in 2001 as Tiny Tim and Scrooge at the age of 8), Annie Get Your Gun (in 2001 as Little Jake). He played in The Sound of Music (as Kurt) at Paper Mill Playhouse.

In 2002 while playing in A Christmas Carol, Nick wrote a song called Joy to the World, with his father. With the background of La Belle et la Bête cast, Nick performed the song in Broadway's annual Broadway album in 2002: Carols for a Cure, Vol.4. In November 2003, INO Records received a demo of Joy to the World. While Nick was working on his solo project, Joe followed in his brother's footsteps playing Broadway, appearing in Baz Luhrmann's La Bohème production.
