Leprous

Leprous is a Norwegian progressive metal band from Notodden. He trained in 2001 and is inspired by other bands such as Radiohead, Massive Attack, Arvo Part, Susanne Sundfør, The Prodigy, Porcupine Tree, and The Dillinger Escape Plan.

After the EP >>>>. In 2009, they play with Ihsahn, and with the black metal band Emperor. They also participate in the big ProgPower USA> and ProgPower Europe festivals, then play at the end of 2010, in the first part of the Swedish symphonic metal band Therion for their European tour>.

The band's third studio album, Bilateral, is published on August 24, 2011>. Ihsahn is present as a guest at the song.

On Facebook, the group announces the release of their fourth album, entitled Coal, May 20, 2013. The song Chronic is available to listen on the webzine Metal Hammer >. Also on Facebook, Leprous announces that Rein Blomquist left the band on August 10, 2013, playing today his last date at the Brutal Assault festival in the Czech Republic. He is replaced by Martin Skrebergene, playing his first date on August 13, 2013 in Nantes. Leprous is also the band that accompanies Ihsahn at all his concerts. Ihsahn is also invited several times to sing on the songs of Leprous, especially on the songs Thorn and Contaminate Me , taken from albums Bilateral and Coal .
