New found glory

New Found Glory is an American pop punk band from Coral Springs, Florida. Formed in 1997, the group is now based in California. The group currently includes Jordan Pundik (vocals), Chad Gilbert (solo guitar, backing vocals), Ian Grushka (bass) and Cyrus Bolooki (drums) >>>. Guitarist and lyricist Steve Klein leaves the band in 2013 because of "personal differences" .

New Found Glory is from Coral Springs, Florida. Their origins date back to 1997 when Jordan Pundik (vocals) and Ian Grushka (bass) play in the group Inner City Kids (later called Flip 60). After the separation of Flip 60, they recruit Stephen Klein (guitar), whom Pundik met at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

The training was born in 1997, and began to perform on different local scenes, acquiring a wide audience. In 1999, a first LP came out, Nothing Gold Can Stay with Hit or Miss, followed quickly by an EP, From the Screen to Your Stereo. The band is spinning on the US East Coast, and successfully sells the EP>. With these first deliveries, members won a contract with Drive-Thru, owned by MCA. Follows the album Nothing Gold Can Stay (1999)>.

So they sign with Drive-Thru Records> and publish From the Screen to Your Stereo in 2000. Drive-Thru's relationship with MCA Records means that the band will move from a small label to a major. Later this year, the band releases Hit or Miss, which reaches the US Modern Rock Place, which helps the band become popular. With their second album New Found Glory (2000), they reach the first place of the Billboard Heatseekers> and spend 21 weeks in the Billboard 200>. The album also marks the beginnings of the group under the simple name of Nw Found Glory, without the A>. He is certified gold by the RIAA>.
