Texas in july

Texas in July is an American metalcore band from Ephrata, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2007, the band releases its first EP, Salt of the Earth , which follows from a debut album, I Am , to the CI Records label. After signing at Equal Vision Records, they released three more albums: "One Reality" in 2011, an eponymous album in 2012, then lang =" in "> Bloodwork in 2014. The band breaks up at the end of 2015.

Texas in July was formed in 2007 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, during their high school years. The band records and publishes a six-song demo that it sells at local concerts, particularly at the Chameleon Club. Then the group attracts the interest of the label CI Records, with whom he signs in 2008.

Texas in July publishes an EP, and a studio album at CI. Their first EP, "Salt of the Earth" , was released on October 7, 2008, and was produced by Carson Slovak of the American group Century. Their first album, I Am , was published by mail in July 2009, then internationally in September 2009. With these releases, the group can play alongside other heavy metal bands like August Burns Red, Devil Wears Prada, Every Time I Die and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. Members complete their studies and participate in several festivals, such as the Purple Door Festival.

On June 15, 2010, Texas in July releases the single Uncivilized that includes two songs; Uncivilized and Fair Fight. Uncivilized is recorded in the spring of 2010, and Fight Fair is an unreleased song recorded during sessions for I Am. In 2010, Uncivilized, Elements and Hook, Line and Sinner become downloadable songs for the video game Rock Band . On July 8, 2010, the group announces its arrival on the label Equal Vision Records>.
