The Winery Dogs is a super hard rock band from New York. He is trained by Richie Kotzen, Mike Portnoy and Billy Sheehan.

The idea of ​​forming a group emerges in the minds of drummer Mike Portnoy and bassist Billy Sheehan, who wanted to play as a rock power trio alongside a singer. After a canceled project, first called Bad Apple, with guitarist and vocalist John Sykes, host Eddie Trunk, who heard their story, will suggest Richie Kotzen, who previously played with Sheehan in the group Mr. Big between 1997 and 2002.

Before the Winery Dogs, the three members enjoyed success in other groups. Richie Kotzen is known to have played in Poison and Mr. Big, and played solo. Billy Sheehan is known for playing with Steve Vai, David Lee Roth, Talas, and Mr. Big. Mike Portnoy was drummer for Dream Theater and Adrenaline Mob groups.

Their first self-titled album is released in Japan on May 5, 2013 at the WHD Entertainment label, Victor's branch, and internationally on July 23, 2013 at Loud and Proud Records. It is produced by Jay Ruston, and includes thirteen songs; the Time Machine song is changed by Criminal for the Japanese edition.
