Destinity

Destinity is a French melodic thrash metal and thrash metal band from Lyon, Rhône-Alpes. Formed in 1996, he is influenced by Mick (vocals), Zephiros (rhythm guitar) and Morteüs (drums).

The group performs more than 350 concerts across France and Europe with bands such as Kreator, Sepultura, Kataklysm, Behemoth, Loudblast, Cradle of Filth, Darkane, Entombed, Severe Torture, Destruction, Decapitated, No Return, Napalm Death , Gojira, Dagoba and many others ... He has also participated in many festivals such as Summer Breeze Open Air 2010, Motocultor Festival 2010, Hellfest, etc. The group separates in 2013.

Destinity is formed in July 1996 in Lyon, Rhône-Alpes>. Their first album, Wepts from the Sky , is self-financed and published in 1999>. In 2002, the band officially signed to the label Adipocere Records>. After two first albums oriented death and black symphonic, the band evolves since the release of Synthetic Existence (2005) in a musical sphere closer to the stage Scandinavian thrash / death. The release of The Inside in 2008, on the German label Lifeforce Records and produced at Hansen Studios (Denmark), will allow the group to achieve a greater fame around the world.

In 2010, the group participates in the Summer Breeze Open Air Festival. In early 2010, Destinity publishes the cover of his upcoming album titled XI Reasons to See which will be available February 22nd on Lifeforce Records>. At the end of 2012, the band released a video of them in the studio recording a sequel to the album XI Reasons to See. In March 2013, they make a European tour alongside Deicide>. In May 2013, Mick decides to leave the group he created 17 years earlier due to differences. On July 18, 2013, the group announces to be looking for a new singer. November 29, 2013 Yan Pierrat (ex-singer of Fifteen) is declared new singer of the group. The group announces at the same time wanting to take new artistic directions and will separate a few months later.
