The production is a commercial success selling over 200,000 tickets during its six months of operation. It was also sold out in Germany, and in the West End of London at the Aldwych Theater from 23 October 2006, boasting of being the strongest pre-sale in London's history ( more than 6 million pounds). The production of the original West End ends in July 2011, after five years, before a two-year national tour.
