From first to last

From First to Last , also abbreviated as FFTL, is a post-hardcore American group, originally from Tampa, Florida. The group releases its first EP titled Aesthetic in 2003 which will be recorded with singer and founder Phillip Reardon who will leave the group in 2004 because of creative and personal differences. Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count follows in 2004 and Heroine in 2006, with Moore.

After Moore's departure in February 2007 to focus on his solo project, Skrillex, the band recruits a permanent bassist, Matt Manning, and Good puts on guitar and singing. They publish their eponymous album in 2008 at the Suretone Records label. On August 27, 2009, From First to Last confirms to the Punk Rock Show, hosted by DJ Rossstar, to have left Suretone and is now signed at Rise Records>. At the end of 2009, they separate from guitarist and singer Travis Richter. Their fourth studio album, Throne to the Wolves, is released on March 16, 2010. On July 28, 2010, the group pauses.

In November 2013, From First to Last reformed after a three-year break, and called for donations on Kickstarter to fund their new EP recorded alongside Travis Richter. In April 2014, Richter and Goodf announced a video ad and re-recorded The Latest Plague from Alternative Press's Heroine (2006) with Periphery singer Spencer Sotelo. In 2015, they released a new album titled Dead Trees on Sumerian Records. In July 2016, Sotelo leaves the group.

The group was originally formed in November 1999 as First Too Last, by members Matt Good, Steve Pullman, Mike Blanchard, and Scott Oord.
