The Pussycat dolls

The Pussycat Dolls (abbreviated to PCD) is an American pop and R'n'B girl group. Choreographer Robin Antin had the idea of a burlesque troupe in 1993 with her friend Christina Applegate. In fact the band was born in 1993 in Christina Applegate's garage. The first performance of the troupe took place in 1995. During this period, the members performed with many guest singers, using a repertoire from the 1950s and 1960s, dressed in old-fashioned lingerie and pin-up costumes. Robin Antin is inspired by Bob Fosse's choreographies from the films Sweet Charity, Cabaret and Chicago>.
