You made a fine job creating some chilling mood. Your guitar leads are pretty good, especially in combination with the delay effect.
In its style it reminds me on David L. Jones - Iceberg (which is pretty awesome!) but somehow he managed it better to build the song up to a certain "mood explosion", just one kind of highlight or anything.
I really like yours as well and I guess it´s the kind of song which never bores played in background, but somehow you´re just waiting for something to come, but it doesn´t come, if you understand what I mean ;)
These are the only critcs I have, but this missing link makes the differnce between a good and an awesome song. at least for me. But good it is without a doubt.

Oh, I forgot. I will rate after hearing all songs ;)

Yep, yet another clean arpeggio intro. Nothing special there, moving on. :P

As always, really nice drumwork. Nothing more to really say in particular about that.

Probably my favourite part is the very first verse solo. Just some really nice phrasing and melody there without going over the top with runs or anything.

And you officially are awesome for your chord progression in parts in the second verse. Nice way to progress the song further. Particular moments I love - first chord on bar 47, second chord on bar 52. Love it. Not to mention the arpeggio guitar working in synch with the Rhodes in the latter half of the verse - yea, I guess that's another particular favourite moment.

Really, my only criticism of this is that I hope to see you moving away from your particular construction of chords - like I think we talked about a while back, you really like your 2nds. Come on, I want to see you pull off something... cleaner would be the word, I guess. Interesting work CAN be done with "conventional" chords. Not to mention that it's something different for you. It's making it harder and harder to write comments, also. :P

Anyway, yep, very nice song.

4.5 stars.

the point where the crazy, somewhat immature and hyperactive jr started calming down and using the potential. this song is the first tune of yours I can admit I have absolutely no issues with, everything works and is goddamn awesome. you know all this already, since I first heard this song right as it was made. great stuff.

4.5
