Architects

Architects is a British metalcore band from Brighton. Formed in 2004, the group went through several name changes before deciding on Architects. Their first name was Inharmonic, which quickly changed to Counting the Days. After a few years, the final name Architects was chosen. Each member is vegan>, a lifestyle they adopted after watching documentaries on the subject.

They released their first album Nightmares in 2006 to the label In at the Deep End. After the departure of their singer Matt Johnson, Sam Carter joins them and appears in their second album Ruin published in 2007 at the United by Fate label. In 2009, the band released Hollow Crown to the Century Media label. They then release their fourth album The Here And Now in 2011, which will now focus on a direction " post-hardcore " more marked. The album is well received by the specialized press, but refused by the fans. The following year, in 2012, Architects returned to his original style in his fifth album "Daybreaker" , which focuses on words politically involved> unlike violent and comic lyrics of their previous opus.

Their sixth album, Lost Forever // Lost Together , was released in 2014 on Epitaph Records. The album All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us was released on May 27, 2016, on the Epitaph label. A tour of Australia follows, in the first part of the English group (and former friends) Bring Me The Horizon in September 2016, then a European tour headlining with the band Bury Tomorrow in the first part, between October and November 2016.

In November 2018, Architects returns with a seventh album that will be without the guitarist Tom Searle, who died in August 2016.
