Fit for rivals

Fit for Rivals is an American punk rock band from Jacksonville, Florida. Formed in 2006, it consists of Renee Phoenix on vocals, Thomas Amason on guitar, Jesse Carroll on guitar, Eli Clark on bass and John Hartman on drums.

The group is initially formed in 2006 in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, under the name The Explicits; only one eponymous album> will be produced. Between 2006 and 2008, Renee Phoenix is ​​the leader. However, in 2008, while looking for a guitarist, Phoenix meets Thomas Amason. Realizing that she and Amason were on the same musical creativity, she decided to form Fit for Rivals.

Their first studio album, entitled Steady Damage , is published in 2009. The Crash song is selected as the opening of the WWE: Over The Limit> . In early 2010, they are announced for a charity concert for the Somer Thompson Foundation. A second single should have appeared in 2011, but because of problems, it is pushed back. The group will give concerts later.

In 2014, a second album is announced for a possible release in 2015. A single entitled Freak Machine is published shortly after the same year. Before the album, the group publishes an EP, entitled Sugar, July 17, 2015>. Their second studio album, titled Freak Machine, is finally released in 2015 at the Big 3 Records label.
