Joey cape

Randal "Joey" Cape (born November 16, 1966 in California) is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and American producer of punk and acoustic music. Active since 1989, Joey Cape is best known as the leader of Californian punk rock band Lagwagon.

Joey Cape released his first solo album, Bridge, on October 21, 2008 on Suburban Home Records. His second album, Does not Play Well with Others, was released in February 2011 after publishing a song every month for a year.

Joey Cape's solo career is also marked by numerous collaborations with artists such as Tony Sly's No Use for a Name and Jon Snodgrass from Armchair Martian and Drag the River.

In addition to his work with Lagwagon, Joey Cape was also the lead singer of experimental rock band Bad Astronaut until their separation following the death of drummer Derrick Plourde. He is also a guitarist in the band Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.
