Northlane

Northlane is an Australian metalcore band from Sydney. Formed in 2009, the band is composed in 2014 of Marcus Bridge on vocals, Jon Deiley on guitar, Josh Smith on rhythm guitar, Brendon Padjasek on bass and Nic Pettersen on drums.

Northlane was formed in 2009 as a metalcore band in the western suburbs of Sydney by Jon Deiley on lead guitar, Brendan Derby on drums and percussion, Adrian Fitipaldes on vocals, Alex Milovic on bass and Josh Smith on rhythm guitar> >>. Their name is inspired by the North Lane song by British metalcore band Architects >>>. In 2013, Fitipaldes explains that their training was done over the Internet when Deiley and Milovic both contacted each other to compose a song together. He also explains that after the compositions, they began to recruit>.

Their first six-track EP, Hollow Existence , is published in January 2010>; he is generally well received. All Shall Perish by Kill Your Stereo praises their "admirable and mature talent, a vital quality that is almost nonexistent in Australian groups". Mark A from Sputnikmusic explains: "We can certainly say that this is a first try. The breakdowns are clearly used throughout the EP six tracks, punctuated by pieces of clear guitar. " Northlane is touring Australia in support of the album, and " is making a name for itself as a theatrical band playing endlessly ". "

At the end of 2011, the group signed to the UNFD label, to which they released their first studio album, "Discoveries" , in November the same year>. He reached the top 100 of the ARIA Albums Chart ranking No. 49 of the ARIA Digital Albums chart and No. 1 of the ARIA Hitseekers Albums chart. The album is followed by a Tour Discoveries in Australia, and tours with August Burns Red and House Vs Hurricane.

In September 2012, the band toured Canada with Counterparts and Stray from the Path. At the end of the tour, they go to New York to record their new album with Will Putney. In December 2012, the band participated with Parkway Drive on their Atlas tour in Australia.
