Safri Duo is a Danish electronic music band founded in Copenhagen in 1990 by Uffe Savery and Morten Friis.
Both met in 1977 at the Royal Danish Conservatory.
From 1990 to 1998, they released six albums that mainly transcribed classical works by Chopin or Bach.
Their seventh LP Episode II in May 2001 brings to Safri Duo their biggest hit Played Alive.
