Taking back sunday

Taking Back Sunday is an American alternative rock band from Long Island, New York. With influences such as Jimmy Eat World and Rites of Spring, the quintet plays energetic music and influences (punk, pop rock ...).

In 2002, the group released its first album, Tell All Your Friends, on the independent label Victory Records, which will propel them to the forefront. Their place will be maintained thanks to his successor Where You Want to Be. In 2006, Taking Back Sunday is back with Louder Now and the single MakeDamnSure which marks their debut on a big label: Warner Records. They then confirm with New Again and Taking Back Sunday

Taking Back Sunday is formed in 1999 by Eddie Reyes. Reyes is a veteran of the Long Island music scene.

In 2004, Taking Back Sunday opens for Blink-182 and appears on the Vans Warped Tour. They also released their second album, Where You Want To Be, on July 27, 2004, to the Victory Records label. He reached third place in the Billboard 200, with close to 220,000 copies sold. Rolling Stone magazine considers Where You Want To Be one of the 50 best albums of 2004>.
