Trollfest

Trollfest , also stylized TrollfesT , is a Norwegian folk metal band from Oslo. Most of Trollfest's lyrics are written in a language called "trollspråk" , which is a mixture of Norwegian and German>.

Jostein "Trollmannen" Austvik and John Espen "Mr.Seidel" Sagstad have known each other for a long time. After having lost sight of each other, they meet again a few years later in Oslo where Sagstad was studying>. Together with their classmates Martin "PsychoTroll" Storm-Olsen and Eirik "TrollBank" Renton, they form TrollfesT in 2003 >>>. The group is initially formed "to laugh" , but it becomes, during its existence, serious>.

They recorded a first song called Drekka Konkurranse . The band releases its first album Willkommen Folk Tell Drekka Fest on March 15, 2005, at the German label Solistitium Records. The title can literally be translated into French as "Welcome to the big boozers" . Their second album Brakebein is published on May 24, 2006, again at Solistitium, which will be renamed Omvina. In 2007, the group gave its first concert at Barther Metal Openair in Germany. Their third album Villanden is released on January 9, 2009 at the German label Twilight. It is followed by EP Uraltes Elemente.

In January 2011, the group signs with the label NoiseArt Records>, where they publish their album In kvest for den hellige gral on April 22 the same year .
