Hi.

I was unable to determine which version of "K's Choice - Mr Freeze" was your tab, since both of the versions on this site have the same information in the F5 window.

Re: Official Contact Gprotab Moderator Thread

Hi, thanks a lot for your quick reply and action !

The version I made is N°1. In fact I started from version N°2 (older), on which I made significant corrections and added the singing melody. As it was my first tab, I did not know the F5 information yet...

Re: Official Contact Gprotab Moderator Thread

That's ok!  You could re-submit the tab with the correct F5 info and I or one of the other moderators will validate it, but for now it's credited to you.

Re: Official Contact Gprotab Moderator Thread

5.2 is tremendous and I'm using it as a teaching tool with nearly all my pupils.  One frustration I have is the notated polyphony.  It's fine creating a new file so that you can get the published look of two voices, but it is frustrating on old GP files that you can't simply flip some of the stems to create a bass line voice.  Having to re-enter the notes seems crazy to me.  Is this going to be rectified in an upgrade?

Thanks

hint hint? ;]

there were a few problems with it. On track 4: using a piano fill on a guitar track is not good. On track 1: doing the same thing. It's unnecessary; why not use a separate track for this stuff and don't over complicate things using mix table events? Anyhow, I let it through since it's a comp song...

Re: Official Contact Gprotab Moderator Thread

why thank you! ;]

on the other hand, why not overcomplicate things with another track that just plunks piano for two bars three times throughout the piece? that was my logic...

Next version should raise to 4 voices.   I'm pretty anxious to get that feature too  GDshades

don't think there will be a feature to "read" gp4 files in this way. Even gp5 can't do what you suggest.  smiley-sad
