Howdy,

It looked like the " edit tabs " sticky was only for delete or credits.

I was looking at the Testament Artist section and noticed a misspelled tab and (2) with artist name starting the song title. Don't need to be deleted and submission by " ? "

Trial of Tears = Trail of Tears ........ (1994 Low Album song #4)
"Testament" Disciples of the watch
"Testament" Musical Death

Posted here rather than start a topic

Corrected - thanks!

Sure thing smiley-smile going through the submission process it looked like the site was trying to weed those out and standardize the formats.

Got a question for the site:

I was thinking of maybe trying to tab out drums for Slowly We Rot. The tab here is really good and only needs a couple small edits on lead Guitar. What I was wondering is that the end product tab would be:

-twice the length in bar count
-Beat count would be different
-gp3 vs gp5.1 that I use
-and the (2) lead guitar tracks edited to (1)

Would I still submit this as a Correction? Or as a ver2 with score information listing credit to the gprotab.net tab that's already here.

If you intend to use the existing tab but add drums, you need to submit a correction of the existing tab, giving credit to the original tabber in the F5. If you create a tab from scratch, including the guitar track, then submit as a new tab. Sounds like the former to me.

Re: Official Contact Gprotab Moderator Thread

Sorry for asking, but, why does it take so long to accept new tabs?
I know that you are all busy with your own lifes, but, is there any validator shortages? smiley-tongue

Oh and I forgot something the other day when uploading a "new tab", tried to fix it but no can do withouth removing it...
This Tab, is not MINE, I found a worse version of it 3 years ago, then messed with it a little and did some corrections, around 30-45% of the tab was corrected, and since it wasn't here, and this is the only site I post my tabs/corrections, I decided to upload it, but since I've no idea where I found it and who's the tabber, I uploaded as my own...

Sorry to bother you with this, but I don't want to get all the credit of the tab, just "40%" of it smiley-tongue

Why is it that the copyright line (copyright 2nd line AND page #)shows on the score but doesn't print? I have a Mac with GP 6.1.4

I hope it's no virus. I got emailed this by the site.

I didn't know where to post this, but it worries me, so hope you can tell me here.

Re: Official Contact Gprotab Moderator Thread

It is most certainly not a virus.
But this site is regularly plagued by assholes who find it very funny to spam ads and stuff like this.

There is not much we can do about it, except delete those accounts whenever they are created, which usually happens very quickly.
